The Author
This curriculum is the fruit of more than thirty years of teaching Arabic, in which he taught hundreds of learners of many nations.
Across his years of teaching, he saw three barriers between the Muslim and the Quran: the barrier of understanding it in the language of the Quran, not through translation or an intermediary; the barrier of receiving it as a living address that calls for a personal response; and the barrier of transformation in knowledge, values, and conduct. He devoted his expertise and his life to lifting these barriers.
